Independent Composer and Producer

Somewhere in life, my inspiration to write great music originates from nature, literature, architecture, and mythology. Somehow music is the expression of our soul or a mirror of our imagination.

I'm an independent composer and producer who creates Celtic, Folk, Epic, and Fantasy Music. My compositions are usually melodic lines with strong harmonic patterns. My songs are built on great motifs and epic structures. I usually compose non-vocal melodies. It’s all about sound colors, arrangements, and orchestration. 

I compose and produce in my home studio. In my studio I’m using Logic Pro with several different virtual libraries. 

It takes time and knowledge to produce the right sound with digital orchestra. The soundscape is usually more complex but, eventually, at the end, I’ll get the right results. 

A Word About MIDI

In my written music I usually use a software that converts sheet music to MIDI files. MIDI allows a wide variety of instruments to communicate with one another. It does make  life a lot easier.  My music is then a perfect match with video games, trailers, and movies.

Branchala's Music is ever evolving around Epic Music, Celtic, Fantasy, and Norse/Viking-folkemusic traditions.

After a long wait, it’s finally here, the new album from Branchala. “Autumn Twilight” is 30 minutes of a combination of Nordic, Celtic and MIDI themed instrumentals which is slightly folk based. Probably you ask yourself how this album sounds like. Well, imagine you’re walking through the forest, the birds are whistling and everything is serene and beautiful. A kind of like a la Adrian Von Ziegler mixed with some MIDI progressive new age sound.

Alone in the Dark

‘Alone in the Dark’ is a work of Nordic- and Celtic themed instrumentals which are slightly folk based. If you call this music “Soundtrack Music” or not is debatable as it does remind you of works by famous epic and movie composers. The tracks all have their distinctive kind of vibe and atmosphere. The Celtic influences and roots are strong which is nice if you like such kind of music.
